Who am I?

Hi, I’m Gökhan.

I have been living in Amsterdam since 2019.

I’m a passionate engineer and architect with over 16 years of experience in technology-driven companies. I currently work as a Staff Engineer at EY, operating through my freelance company, GKG Software Consultancy.

Over the years, I’ve helped organizations modernize their systems, embrace the cloud, and build reliable, future-proof software platforms. My focus is on cloud architecture (especially on Microsoft Azure), .NET technologies, and enhancing the developer experience through strong engineering practices and platform thinking. I’m especially passionate about designing cloud-native microservices, building event-driven systems, and architecting secure, scalable cloud infrastructures.

I proudly held the title of Microsoft MVP for Microsoft development technologies consecutively from 2019 to 2022.

My extensive expertise spans various domains, including E-Commerce (Search, Checkout, Marketplace, Order Management System, Product Information Management), Hotel Booking (B2C & B2B, Supplier integration), Job Board, and OCR.
